They're. All. Home.

Today from Jewdicious, a special music video dedicated to all of the hostages, survivors, and courageous heroes who kept hope alive.
By Michael Golden

Yesterday, the remains of 24-year-old Master Sergeant Ran Gvili were returned to Israel. He is the final hostage to come; it has been 843 days since October 7, 2023.

Today I am sharing a video of a song I wrote about the attack on Jews that happened in Boulder, CO, on June 1, 2025. I traveled there the following week, and saw a strength I will never forget.

The song is merely a gesture dedicated to the victims of and survivors of Oct. 7, June 1, and the 230 chapters of RUN FOR THEIR LIVES around the world — who never stopped pushing for the hostages’ release.

A special thanks to Boulderites Cathy Cohn, Rachel Amaru, Aaron Brooks and RUN founder, Shany Klein.

“GOIN’ TO BOULDER”

Lyrics by Michael Golden, music by SUNO AI

Eighty-six straight weeks,
They’d been marching Pearl Street
Sun, rain, snow, sleet,
No Sunday did they cheat

A clear and simple ask,
Set the hostages free.
More than six hundred days,
In captivity.

Fifty-eight women and men,
Tryin' to survive terrorists den.
Kidnappers would not relent,
Madness etched in cement.

I’m goin’ I’m goin’ I’m goin’ to Boulder,
If nothing else, just to be a shoulder.
I know, I know, that I shoulda told her,
But nothing's gonna stop me from gettin’ to Boulder

Sunday morning was quiet,
When the march began.
Peaceful walkers as usual,
That was always the plan.

Then a man in disguise,
Started screamin’ so shrill.
Glare of rage in his eyes,
Carrying tools made to kill.

It was broad daylight,
When he went haywire,
Hurling homemade bombs
Setting people on fire.

I’m goin’ I’m goin’ I’m goin’ to Boulder,
All I hope to be, is an extra shoulder.
I know, I know, that I shoulda told her,
But soon, real soon, I’ll be marchin’ in Boulder

Sunday I arrived,
Not a single doubt.
Folks were ready to pray,
Walk the same parade route.

Armed agents on the rooves,
Taking nothing to chance.
Looking down on the Hora,
All of us in the dance.

Saw no hatred or anger,
Though there was plenty of cause.
Jews choose other ways,
Choose love and choose laws.

Yeah I’m so glad that I went to Boulder,
Beauty in unity and me the beholder.
I know, I know, that I shoulda told her,
But she’ll understand why I went to Boulder
