What a well thought out and tightly presented, accurate description of military political history.

The only thing missing, in my opinion, is the economic value of the Military Industrial complex to a Nations lifestyle...jobs, material, creativity and that to eliminate would crash the nation while to continue it would thrive a nation.

This I believe is the rational behind dismantle rather than eliminate...the reason there is always a backing off before the mission is completed. Rebuilding weapon stockpiles makes money while it also inevitably leads to wars to get rid of the stockpiles.

Just my 2 cents as a deep thinker and analyst.

Perhaps the most catastrophic outcome of this political ineptitude is that people, otherwise religious Zionist types, choose to live outside of Israel rather than raise a family in an endless war zone.
